Camilla and Jon tour schools and prisons and a variety of institutions world-wide to deliver talks and workshops. Drawing on how they survived in captivity, how they found forgiveness for their captors and how they dealt with the effects of post-traumatic stress. Promoting Awareness, Education, Inspiration

Exploring forgiveness and its relevance in our lives using multi-media and sharing their own survival techniques. What does it mean to you? What is the point of forgiveness? Is it helpful? Are there situations that are unforgiveable? Does forgiving mean forgetting? What is the connection between forgiving and letting go? Can forgiveness and punishment go hand in hand?
The talks and workshops can be adapted for all age groups including Primary Yrs 5 and 6. Timing is flexible

This programme covers key areas of SEAL and PSHCE, in particular citizenship at K.S.3 and 4 upwards:
- How do we deal with conflict?
- The nature of forgiveness.
- The power of choice.
- Developing skills of debate and democratic participation.
Accompanying Exhibition: The F Word: Images of Forgiveness
Camilla and Jon's experiences are part of this exhibition which explores stories of reconciliation from victims and perpetrators of violence around the world using text and photographs. It encourages debate on overcoming difference and division and aims to achieve lasting social cohesion.
